“The Cambridge Rocking Horse Company brings a bit of our nation’s timeless history to your home and family. The horses are a tradition in our family, one we’d like to share with yours.”

New York artist Ed Hepp creates beautiful carousel-style rocking horses. His horses appear in art galleries and as fine furniture in distinguished homes.
We still think of them as elegant, heirloom-quality toys and reproductions.
Ed made his first rocking horse in 1990, as a special gift for a family member. The result exceeded even his own expectations. Everyone who saw it wanted one of their own. When the first horse drew national attention, the Cambridge Rocking Horse Company was born.
Each figure is original, hand-crafted and unique, and based upon Ed’s exhaustive study of traditional carousel-style horses and the history of their design and craftsmanship. They are reminders of a simpler era of beauty, charm and quality. The rocking horses are built to be admired, but also for children to ride.
Despite demand, Ed carves and paints each figure himself. Each is signed and numbered. Perhaps you’ll think of yours as a collectible. To your children or grandchildren ― and their children ― it will simply be a delight.
